I started @TheMindfulMaven on Instagram in Oct 2015 as a place to connect with others also on a journey to lose weight and get healthy. I had no idea that I would develop a passion for cooking healthy and nutritious cuisine, enjoy meal planning and sharing ideas about beauty, skin care and organization.

I live in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, Canada with my husband G, and our two spoiled yorkie pups Banana (Annie) and Michael Jackson. We love exploring the city together, travelling (the pups come too! See? I said spoiled) and taking in a concert every now and then. I do work full time which can make living a healthy lifestyle a little tricky but I love developing solutions for problems and have a series of systems to keep life on track which I’m excited to share with you.
